After the success of working with Chief Stewart for the Renovations to Fire Station #31 and new Fire Station #33, we were selected to work with them again for Fire Station #34, located on Bluff Road in Prairieville, LA. This 6,500 square foot station has 2,600 square feet of living space and 3,900 square feet of engine storage. As with Station #33, the engine storage area has 2 double-deep bays capable of housing four trucks.
Using Fire Station #33 as the prototypical design, we were able to save taxpayer money, estimate expected bids, and ensure an easy construction process. For this station location, we also assisted with site selection. Preliminary site preparation in the latest tax renewal for the Fire Department aided in funding the project.
