He has worked with Chief Stewart of the Prairieville Fire Department to develop a renovation plan for Fire Station #31, a new prototype for fire stations #33, and #34. BIOGRAPHY
Kate is a very curious person, always wanting to learn something new. She dabbles in photography and shows in galleries sporadically. She loves to document things most people overlook, focusing on unexpected beauty. Due to her passion for history, anthropology, forensics, and reading, she is very often up at all hours, wanting to read “just one more chapter” before bedtime. She and her husband, Michael, have 3 boys and they occupy a lot of Kate’s time whenever she isn’t out in field or reading.
Kate has made her home in Baton Rouge almost all her life, except for those few misguided years during elementary school in Houston, and a couple of years in Lafayette during high school. After returning to Baton Rouge as a young adult, she was overheard to say, “Those darned Cajuns make too much noise, I can’t concentrate on my books.”

Ingrid says that she has always had a fascination with buildings, both old and new, which was most likely inherited from her father, a brick mason.
